Excellence
February 28, 2007
Excellence is never an accident.
It is achieved in an organization or institution only as a result of an unrelenting and vigorous insistence on the highest standards of performance.
It requires an unswerving expectancy of quality from the staff and volunteers.
Excellence is contagious. It infects and affects everyone in the organization. It charts the direction of program. It establishes the criteria for planning. It provides zest and vitality to the organization.
Once achieved, excellence has a talent for permeating every aspect of the life of the organization.
Excellence demands commitment and a tenacious dedication from the leadership of the organization. Once it is accepted and expected, it must be nourished and continually reviewed and renewed.
It is a never-ending process of learning and growing. It requires a spirit of motivation and boundless energy. It is always the result of a creatively conceived and precisely planned effort.
Excellence inspires; it electrifies. It potentializes every phase of the organization’s life. It unleashes an impact, which influences every program, every activity, every committee, and every staff person. To instill it in an organization is difficult; to sustain it, even more so. It demands adaptability, imagination and vigor. But most of all, it requires from the leadership a constant state of self-discovery and discipline.
Excellence is an organization’s lifeline. It is the most compelling answer to apathy and inertia. It energizes a stimulating and pulsating force. Once it becomes the expected standard of performance, it develops a fiercely driving and motivating philosophy of operation.
Excellence is a state of mind put into action. It is a road map to success. When a climate of excellence exists, all things come easier.
Excellence in an organization is important…. because it is Everything.

Learning About Yourself, From Yourself by Krishnamurti
February 26, 2007
“I think you should put these questions to yourself, not occasionally but everyday. Find out. Listen to everything, to the birds, to that cow calling. Learn about everything in yourself, because if you learn from yourself about yourself, then you will not be a second-hand human being.
So you should, if I may suggest, from now on, find out how to live entirely differently and that is going to be difficult, for I am afraid most of us like to find an easier way of living. We like to repeat and follow what other people say, what other people do, because it is the easiest way to live - to conform to the old pattern.
We have to find out what it means never to conform and what it means to live without fear. This is your life, and nobody is going to teach you, no book, no guru. You have to learn from yourself, not from books.
There is a great deal to learn about yourself. It is an endless thing, it is a fascinating things, and when you learn about yourself from yourself, out of that learning wisdom comes. Then you can live a most extraordinary, happy, beautiful life.”

Communication by Carl Rogers
February 26, 2007
“Through my experience I have found that there is one main obstacle to communication: people’s tendencies to evaluate. Fortunately, I’ve also discovered that if people can learn to listen with understanding, they can mitigate their evaluative impulses and greatly improve their communication with others.
We can achieve real communication and avoid this tendency when we listen with understanding. This means seeing the expressed idea from the other person’s point of view, sensing how it feels to the person, achieving his or her frames of reference about the subject being discussed.
We know from research that such empathic understanding with a person, not about him/her - is so effective that it can bring about significant changes in personality.
If you think that you can listen well and yet have never seen such results, your listening probably has not been of the type I am describing here.”

Let The World Speak To You In A New Voice by Sydney Jourard
February 26, 2007
“We begin life with the world presenting itself to us as it is. Someone, our parents, our teachers, our analysts, hypnotise us to see the world and construe it in the right way. These others label the world, attach names and give voices to the beings and events in it so that thereafter we cannot read the world in any other language or hear it saying other things to us. The task is to break the hypnotic spell so that we become undeaf, unblind, and multi-lingual. Thereby letting the world speak to us in new voices.”

Don’t Get Professional Coaching Now and You’ll Regret It Later by Manoj Sharma
February 26, 2007
EVERYONE has their own variations of targets, aspirations and dreams whether they communicate them to others or not. And EVERYONE faces problems, challenges and difficulties in various shapes and forms.
MOST PEOPLE never achieve their targets, aspirations and dreams, instead, they settle for much less. And MOST PEOPLE also never resolve their problems, challenges and difficulties, instead, they find compromises that suck the zest out of their lives.
EVERYONE, except for the arrogant and foolish, could use some assistance to meet their targets, aspirations and dreams; faster, better and more easily. EVERYONE could benefit from huge savings / gains of both time and money. After all, even the best of the best have blindspots and unknowns. This is very clearly observable in the famously work called the Johari Window, done by Joseph Luft and Harrington Ingham.
Clearly blindspots can be uncovered and the great unknowns can be illuminated through Professional Coaching for higher levels of efficiency, effectiveness and efficacy, but most people will not do so out of ignorance or a choice to remain ignorant. The consequence are that they continue to live their lives in what is best described as their same-old, same-old. Sacrificing the opportunity for different-new, different-new that they knowingly or unknowingly are searching for.
Getting Professional Coaching is not just a powerful experience of being at your best now, it is actually really smart too, and it seems only a few people fully realize this. This is great for those who do, but terrible for those not in the know.
Only a minority are willing to sacrifice some of their time and money to get professional assistance towards achieving their objectives. MOST PEOPLE are looking for quick-fixes, short-cuts and the easy way out.
Know this once and for all. There are no quick-fixes, no short-cuts and no easy way out. You can only accelerate your progress. EVERYONE has got to pay the price, EVERYONE has got to walk the path.
Every (not some) highly successful leader, professional and entrepreneur you can think of has gotten a tremendous amount of assistance on their path towards their success. The value they derived from their mentors and guides is largely the same as that which a DifferWorld Certified Professional Coach can provide you today. Why is that so? They are numerous reasons. All of which involved a significant investment of time and money by yours truly. The starting point of which was studying an eclectic selection from Michael H. Hart’s The 100 - A Ranking Of The Most Influential Persons In History almost 15 years ago now. I fast added to Michael Hart’s List some of my own personal favourites and below is a brief listing of the people whose lives I researched and studied.
Religious Leaders
Krishna, Buddha, Jesus, Moses, Muhammad, Mahavira & Zoroaster
Writers, Philosophers & Thinkers
Socrates, Confucius, Lao Tzu, Mencius & Homer
Scientists
Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, Nicolaus Copernicus, Galileo Galilei, Thomas Edison, Alexander Graham Bell, Werner Heisenberg, Niels Bohr & Charles Darwin
Leaders, Politicians and Kings
Mohandas Gandhi, Martin Luther King, John F. Kennedy, Alexander the Great, Asoka, Julius Caesar & Genghis Khan
Artists
Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart & Ludwig van Beethoven
What I was looking for through this study was commonality that can be replicated. After nearly a decade of mulling over, this is what dawned upon me.
Every single one of those I studied was hugely inspired, had phenomenal clarity, was completely focused, took massive immediate action, build escalating momentum, experienced breakthroughs and breakdowns and ultimately delivered excellent results. This has since formed the back-bone of the DifferWorld Professional Coaching Process of Inspiration, Clarity, Focus, Action, Momentum, Winning & Celebrating. We have since used this process together with DifferWorld’s Professional Coaching Technologies, Methodologies and Techniques to create incredible positive effects.
Knowing that this worked charmingly for history’s best leaders, writers, philosophers , thinkers, scientists, politicians and kings shouldn’t you be investing your time and money to learn how right now?
Here’s another facet of the truth. EVERYBODY can afford to have a certified DifferWorld Professional Coach in their corner to assist them at some, if not all, stages of this process. One thing is for sure. Those who don’t do so today, will lament the loss of time (which never comes back) and money wasted (unproductive time is money wasted) and the foregoing of higher levels of profitability, performance and fulfillment levels. I know this personally from the hundreds of individual, team and organization coaching I have done in comparison with those who choose not to engage a Professional Coach.
In fact, it has been widely reported in The Harvard Business Review, HR Magazine, The Wall Street Journal and other leading periodicals that the average ROI from coaching is 6 times the investment.
That’s a $6,000,000 return for every $1,000,000 invested. Now, you don’t have to have and invest a million dollars to get these returns. So go ahead and imagine what your life will be like if you could boost your profitability, performance and fulfillment levels 6 times over.
Einstein once said that imagination is more important than knowledge. This is a practical statement because if you can’t imagine a boost in your profitability, performance and fulfillment levels you can’t have them. There is simply no way to take action, towards creating what you cannot imagine, into reality.
All great people, see around corners. They envision. If at this point you cannot envision the benefits of getting Professional Coaching now (or if you are really great at what you do then, being a Professional Coach) get ready to experience regret later. It’s on it’s way.
Here’s the bottom line.
EVERYBODY can gain from Professional Coaching. MOST PEOPLE however feel there is no urgency and feel they will somehow figure it out on their own, just as MOST PEOPLE are too ignorant of their blindspots and unknowns to realize that they are indeed, MOST PEOPLE.
Don’t just think about this, do something about it now!
And as usual, please feel free to send me your questions, thoughts and comments to Info@DifferWorld.com. 5 Things Everybody Should Know About DifferWorld’s Professional Coaching by Manoj Sharma
February 23, 2007
As of late many of you have dropped me your questions on professional coaching, so here are my answers to them. If you have other questions you’d like to ask please drop me a note at Info@DifferWorld.com and I will do my best to answer them.

The truth is in more ways that can be mentioned, because who you are, where you are at and where you desire to be are absolutely unique in the history of this planet.
Generally speaking a DifferWorld Professional Coach assists you by…
a) getting you to know yourself and appreciating every area of your life deeper than ever before

Ultimately a DifferWorld Professional Coach assists you by being on your side by being on the side of the truth.
3) What are some of the biggest stumbling blocks to a successful DifferWorld Professional Coaching?
There are many stumbling blocks on both sides of the equation and numerous opportunities for progress that arise because of them.
a) Ironically, one of the main stumbling blocks can often be the coachee’s availability of disposable income to pay the coaching fees, as this can result in a half-hearted commitment towards the coaching process. Our experience has shown that feeling the pinch of paying the coaching fees more often than not results in great results.
Other common stumbling blocks include…
b) A lack of the coachee’s trust in both themselves and their coach. While the occasional lack of trust in oneself is understandable, as we all go through crisises of confidence, but a lack of trust in the coach and engaging the coaching is counter productive. Think about it! If you are not willing to fully trust your DifferWorld Professional Coach should you really be getting coaching from them?
It is critical place credence in the coach’s expertise and experience for you to get the best bang for your buck. Knowing that the DifferWorld Professional Coach is there in service to you will assist you to trust.
c) An unwillingness for the Coachee to break through their comfort zones. Our experience shows that people are usually willing to do what they perceive as acceptable risk. This is actually no risk at all. It is what you are not willing to risk that is actually a risk and it is though these acts that the rewards get sweeter and the results extraordinary.
d) A resistance to what really needs to be done, as opposed to what the coachee thinks or feels needs to be done. People usually want to do things their way. Strangely their way is also usually a variation of the way they have always done it before, and there is nothing new there.
Breakthrough professional coaching, whether it is financial coaching, career coaching, business coaching, relationships coaching, life coaching and so on… requires breakthrough thinking and actions.
e) Being stuck in the box of - Reactions, inability to truly Listen, their “I Already Knows”, “Ya, Buts”, Assumptions and Preconceived Notions. The tragedy here is not that people are trapped in their boxes, but that they do not know they are trapped and can’t seem to do anything about it. This box needs to be examined to first establish the existing paradigm, then suspend the existing paradigm and finally consciously shift the existing paradigm to one that is conducive towards achieving their targets.
f) Above all, the greatest stumbling block is an incompetent coach. Why? Incompetency on the part of the coach will make the aforementioned barriers persist. However, if the coach is well tutored as a DifferWorld Professional Coach, the coach will be highly competent, experienced and will have the capacity to get around the above stumbling blocks and produce desirable results for the coachee anyway.
4) What does a Coachee need to know about DifferWorld Professional Coaching to get the best value?
While DifferWorld’s Professional Coaching is one of the best tools available worldwide for boosting personal and professional profitability, performance and fulfillment, it is no magic bullet, because no magic bullet exists when it comes to success or in life itself.
The truth is both the DifferWorld Professional Coach and Coachee are only going to produce solid results with a distinct appreciation that a clarity based, highly focused, consistent persistent towards both smart and hard work is what is required to produce breakthrough profitability, performance and fulfillment.
It is as simple (and sophisticated) as that.
5) What should the Coachee prepare for?
To be at a new personal and professional best.
A relentless pursuit of your target with legality, morality and ethics clearly in mind.
Keeping your progress on the long, straight and narrow while expanding your consciousness.
Giving yourself only two options - hitting the target or exceeding the target you’ve set.
Allowing epiphanies to illuminate your life.
Achieving what you set out to, concluding the coaching and progressing with your life. Coming back only if you want to go for a new or bigger target.
Some more food for thought for both coaches and coachees
a) Never create a dependency
Professional Coaching should never create a dependency. It should have the effect of freeing the person to sustain their performance without subsequent reliance on the coach and coaching. A true Professional Coach will put the money after the sense. Also please recognize that if you get a sense that coaching is not the appropriate intervention, as a professional coach you should refer the potential coachee onwards. It is good professionalism to do so and you will not be at a loss because of it.
b) Have a healthy relationship with money
i) For the Professional Coach
Money in a DifferWorld Professional Coaching environment is a fair exchange of value. As a Professional Coach, put a fair value on your time, experience and expertise.
ii) For the Coachee
As a coachee do your maths. Envision the upside of the coaching, weight it against the downside of not getting it and put an monetary value to it. As long as the monetary gain it is more than 10% (usually it is a lot more and in many cases in excess of 100%) during the duration of your coaching you really should engage the DifferWorld Professional Coach. This is because the 10% you calculated is a recurring return of investment leading to an infinite gain. To give you a sense a 10% month on month incremental results in a 312% gain in 12 months, a 984% gain in 24 months and a 3090% gain in 36 months. Compare it to the expenditure of buying a $100,000/- car and you’d be luck if it’s value remained at $50,000 after 3 years. That’s a 50% loss versus a 3090% gain. Pretty straight forward to the wise, isn’t it?

How to Choose An Executive Coach by Senia Maymin
February 22, 2007
How should you choose an executive coach? If you are in an organization or if you are working on changing careers, how do you know who can help you with that process? How can you choose someone who will know enough about you, about your business, and about your goals that that person can become like a sports coach for you - giving you exercises, training, homework, and most importantly, direction?
In the case of executive coaching, often the direction comes from the client but with the in-depth question-asking and assessment-taking of the coach. How do you find the best executive coach for you or your organization?
1) Know what you want to work on. (The Topic, The Goal)
You can’t start training unless you know whether you’re training for a marathon, a dance recital, or a mountain bike ride. What are the general parameters of the question you’re asking? What is the general topic? What even is a goal - whether at this point specific or not? Do you want to be promoted? Become a stronger manager? Create a full work-life balance? Become a better salesperson? Become more valuable to your organization? Grow your own business? In positive psychology coaching, the goal is the question and the answer. It can always be further refined - and should be because people are changing.
In positive psychology coaching, the client knows - whether logically or not yet logically - but the client himself and herself knows what the goal is. It’s the role of the positive psychology coach to draw out the larger goal and then work on creating subgoals and plans and a training routine (and potentially even some veering directions off the main one), but the formulation of the goal comes from the client. The client knows.
2) Know how you want to work. (The Style)
Are you a rusher or a through planner? Are you in a hurry or do you want to cover all the details? Are you a multi-tasker or a single-tasker? Are you looking forward to this goal or is it a chore? In positive psychology coaching, there are many assessments that the coach usually presents to the client - many upfront and many during the coaching process. Again, as with the goals, in positive psychology coaching, we believe that the client knows. These self-assessments are just that - self-assessments. They are ways for the coach to isolate certain parts of a client’s personality so that both the coach and the client can examine the subparts together. For example, an assessment may be about strengths or learning style or optimism or various routes to happiness. When the coach and client look at the summaries of the self-assessments, this allows the coaching experience to be more targeted.
3) Know how the coach works. (The Fit)
Do you like to be challenged? Do you like to be listened to? Do you prefer many exercises or few? Do you prefer more general talk or more specific exercises? In positive psychology coaching, exercises are important for two reasons. Trying something in a new way through exercises allow the mind to play (which is question #5) and exercises isolate various experiences. Know how the coach likes to work. What kind of exercises does the coach prefer? How frequently? Is this how you like to improve? Is this how you like to train? Does the coach’s demeanor fit with yours? Does it complement yours? These are all questions of fit.
4) Know how much you want the goal. (The Motivation)
Sometimes motivation and self-regulation are large issues and sometimes they almost disappear as issues. Coaches can provide motivation and increase a client’s self-regulation. Is this part of your goal (your answer to #1)? In most cases it is. The key is to realize that for some reason, the client may not have made certain changes before, and that the client may be looking to the coach to change the experience so that in this case the changes stick. In positive psychology coaching, both self-regulation (mindful self-control) and self-efficacy (the belief that one can do something) are key parts of a coaching experience. Like an athletic coach giving exercises and training regimens, an executive positive psychology coach creates the environment for success in the coaching. Some of the tools of positive psychology make self-regulation fun, and the tools that do this for the client are the best ones to use for that particular client.
5) Know what is fun for you in coaching. (The Play)
How do kids learn best? By playing. One of the only ways to learn so that it doesn’t feel like learning is by playing. If it feels like learning, often the brain closes down, and says, “not now, no thank you.” Play jumps right through that barrier. The brain never knows that it’s working. Some of the best ways to learn are by making mistakes and trying new ways. The best place to make mistakes is in practice (although often in real events the mistakes stay stronger), and that practice can come in the form of play. In positive psychology coaching, there are many tools and techniques that you can play with on an active level, experientially. But you don’t ever need to be “working” or “intellectually learning” to get something. A lot of the tools from positive psychology allow a person to get himself fast and thoroughly. Many of the assessments and exercises in positive psychology do not appear to be work or effort, but appear to be unusual and sometimes inexplicable until they are completed. That’s what makes many of these tools games as opposed to work.
In summary, you will end up choosing an executive coach based on the coach’s jizz, that overall impression of Goal, Style, Fit, Motivation, and Play. Enjoy!

The Top 7 Money Mindsets You Need To Have By Manoj Sharma
February 16, 2007
Money! It truly makes the corporeal world go round! So here is a fool proof guide on the top 7 money mindsets you need to have before it is too late.
Some of what you read will come across to you as conventional wisdom - wisdom you are already familiar with. While some of this will come across to you as unconventional wisdom - wisdom you may not be familiar with and may even disagree with, but in your heart of hearts know to be true. Read with an open mind anyway and remember to benefit from this you need to not just understand it intellectually but you need to become a living embodiment of it.
Keep in mind, there is only one situation in which success is an overnight phenomena - after years of efforts. So if you’re looking for a quick fix, please do not read on. It is said that it takes a lifetime to build a good reputation but only 5 minutes to ruin it. The same is true of building a money mindset. If you’re open to having a paradigm shift in your relationship with money do more than give this a shot. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Not to mention doing it in this way would be playing for all to win.
I’m not one to blow my own trumpet so it will suffice to say I am benefiting tremendously from this both financially and non-financially. Regardless of your level of present success, I am sure you will too.
1) Be Contributory
Give off your time, resources and energy. Invest your time in assisting people get what they need, want and desire. Go above and beyond what seems reasonable while doing this. Share generously even if to a fault. Offer the resources you have as a gift to others. As often as possible create a space for others to win. (If you do not know how to do this attend The Principles of Money and invite everyone you know to attend it too. Please note registration is by personal interview only)
Also learn how to be a contribution without expecting anything in return for it. This takes great discipline and a re-creation of who you are. It sounds simple and we both know it really is not. And that is why you need a disciplined professional coaching system to assist you do this.
2) Be Generous
Get rid of your scarcity mindset and be generous even if it means that people will get ahead of you. It seems to be counter to common sense and in opposition to the goal we desire to achieve, but know this to be absolutely true. When it comes to attraction and abundance common sense contradicts herself. Its part of her magic. Keep in mind that the truth exists in paradox. Give abundantly and selflessly beyond your psychological hurt point (this is the point where the mental pain of being generous hurts so badly you feel your whole world is falling apart). Also give people endless chances. To do so you need to appreciate the hidden quality of chance. If you ever have the good fortune of attending KNOWING – An Illuminating Experience make sure you ask me in person to elaborate at length on the element we call chance. It will be a profound context-reshaping-dialogue.
3) Be Sane
Do not be foolish and greedy with both the money you have and don’t have. Being foolish with money can take the form of letting you emotions govern it and giving it off to those who have no appreciation for it.
Don’t buy things you do not really need, just for the sake of some instant gratification. Resist the temptation.
Being insane with your money results in you pursuing the quick, fast and cheap moneymaking ‘opportunities’ that scream in neon lights around every corner. This is part of the eternally tried and tested method of getting fools to part with their money. These are opportunities only insofar as opportunities for you to lose your money. Real opportunities involve paying the price somewhere along the way and developing solid competencies that make the attraction of money look effortless. Remember it only looks effortless when the effort was already put in previously.
Tiger Woods is a great case in point. He is a money magnet. People are willing to dump huge amounts of money at him for a host of reason. He plays effortless golf, makes millions at will, but truthfully has paid the price of money attraction for decades with dedicated and focus practice of his art.
Here is a firm guideline to follow if in doubt… If it seems too easy and requires little initial effort do not buy into it. Being foolish and greedy is a sure way to repel money. It shows “the energy called money” that you have no respect and value for it. Get sane, get educated about money from a principle-based approach and clear up your relationship with money so you can attract it naturally.
4) Be Clear
Be clear about how much money you’d like to attract. Wishy-washiness won’t help. Nothing less than absolute and precise clarity will do. The exact sum and what you want to do with it is the bare minimum. Beyond being specific about how much you would like to attract, you need to be clear what you are willing to do (legally, ethically and morally) to acquire it.
Know also that you need to be clear about your passion, have a compelling value proposition and be willing to work at it relentlessly to allow money to flow towards you. Again it will be your effort that will bear the rewards.
5) Be Present
Be present to your money objective at all times. Write down the amount and what you need the money for. Write this down in as much detail as possible and go over it at least three times to correct and give it a greater focus. Carry this piece of paper with you for a year at minimum and read it as often as you can till your need, want and desire is crystal clear. Keep this in your presence and be present to it. Being present is an extension of being clear. The image of your money objective needs to be burnt into your mind’s eye. It is the lens you need to be present to and to see your world through.
6) Be Neutral
Give up your notion that money is evil, destructive, constructive or incredibly divine. Money is not necessarily evil, destructive, constructive or divine. Evil, destructive, constructive and divine are perceptions. They are conditions we add to money. Evil, destructive, constructive and divine are charges you have on money that polarizes it for you. In truth money is neutral, but we rarely view it that way. Charge it with what you will and so it will be. Best to have it be neutral. It is as simple as that. An interesting point to be noted. If you can’t keep it neutral you will not be able to part with it. And being able to part with it is critical after you acquiring it. If you cannot appreciate this point, follow these guidelines and you’ll soon get a sense of why this is so important.
7) Be Conscientious
You are now living in a truly global marketplace. The consequences of your actions have immediate implications. Do not just do what is in your best interest. Do what is in the best interest of everyone. While this last point is not really a tip, it is very critical when it comes to keeping money. After all, attracting money and not being able to flow and grow your money is pretty pointless isn’t it? Almost everyone who makes money without the best interest of everyone loses it just as fast. Also rem ember that while money is up there with oxygen when it comes to operating in the modern world, you cannot take it with you after you are gone. With that in mind, get off your selfish streak, get yourself educated when it comes to money and do what is in the best interest for everyone, not just you.
So there you have it…The Top 7 Money Mindsets You Need To Have. Treat them as directional signs to attracting money in a holistic way. Also, please note that the above are just a starting point when it comes to getting educated about money. There is a lot more learning required to developing the skill sets to flow and grow your money than you can possibly imagine. The great thing is that you know exactly where to start right now.
So start at point 1) and send this link to as many people as you can. Or can’t you be contributory?
And as usual, please feel free to send me your thoughts and comments to Info@DifferWorld.com. The Wisdom Of The Ages 3 - CHARACTER - by Manoj Sharma
February 14, 2007
Contemplate the following and make sense of it…
Character is molded in life, by one’s response to both great and terrible fortune.
Your true character is paradoxically best observed only by you, when you watch your actions away from the possibility of others ever knowing.
The more sublime your knowledge of the subtle nature of this world and the consequences of your actions, the more solid the desirable facets of your character automatically be.
Your actions speak volume of your true knowledge, which is the foundation of your character.
Character is not about your position in another’s eyes. If you can develop a genuine reputation for humility, integrity and compassion without having the need for others to see it in you, you might just have achieved the highest levels of character and the wisdom it is dependent upon.
Compassion before personal gain and not for adulation is the one of the highest representation of character.
When it comes to character strive for the high road. You will certainly fall short and keep diverting from it, but keep striving for it anyway. Through this very effort the highest in you will make itself known and divinely further your cause.
This is the wisdom of the ages as spoken of in The Origins of The World II, Bhagavad Gita 2.38, Analects, Proverbs 24.10, Chuang-Tzu, Dhammapada 81, Judges 8.21, Mahabharata, Sutra Krit Anga II 2.75, Subshashita Ratna Nidhi and Hadith.

18 Questions towards your Enduring Success by Manoj Sharma
February 13, 2007
Most people desire to have a successful career that they can enjoy the rewards of and look back upon with pride. A career in which they were a meaningful contribution to their world, theirs organizations, teams and customers.
Unfortunately most people fall way short of their own ideals for a variety of reasons. Reasons that are quite apparent if observed carefully on a daily basis. Amongst these reasons being that their minds are not always in the right place and/or their actions do not necessarily correspond with their minds.
In order for you to see where you stand, here are 18 questions that will indicate your likely long-term success. It is highly recommended that everyone from the CEO down ask these questions of themselves on a yearly basis to keep a check on themselves. While admittedly this is not an all inclusive list it will certainly give the vigilant and interested a great platform for self-examination and growth. Especially when you combine them with professional coaching, high value executive coaching, high performance team coaching and other initiatives for your organization.
Before we continue there is something I need to bring to your attention. There are some very subtle nuances in the questions you are about to ask yourself, so please take the time to appreciate both the spirit of the questions and the differences they highlight.
You need to endeavour to answer each question truthfully, and for your own benefit, take action on it right now. Either that or appreciate that your desire and destiny may eternally differ.
Enjoy the process…
1. Are you truly more creative, inventive, innovative, productive and optimal this year than you were last year or are you really more focused on more comfort, security and compensation?
2. Are you truly fully responsible for setting a higher standard and delivering excellent results or is it really your “bosses” responsibility to do so?

For some people the above questions can be tough to answer as they require an examination beneath the surface of the masks we wear, how we want our world to interact with us and what we would like to believe about ourselves. So if you feel you did not answer them with sufficient appreciation and depth, go through them again.
Also, if you are a leader of a team, you should take the time to go through this series of questions with all your team mates at quarterly team gathering and do your best to assist them be more productive.
